It was bound to happen, the ol man fired most people who were interesting and talented and who did that leave?

Still 7 seasons is a good run for any show, and I bet they made plenty of money during that.

Every show was the same...two days to build a bike, Sr and Jr yelling at each other....bike was ready with 5 seconds left on the clock....they made their money and are now gone, for good I hope.

about the only notable thing these guys did was escort McGregor & Boorman into New York.... but with the publicity it was still about the money

what I learnt from the shows.... what not to do to bikes....

"Well I was a bit worried about how the show was gonna turn out what with time schedules & such but I think with input from Senior, we got the job done & made shitloads of cash so I"m happy with how it all turned out".... "So long & thanks for all the cash".

I've probably seen most eps - it's replayed regularly and hardly a night goes by without an ep or two of American Chopper on the pay telly! Yeah it can be repetitive, but still OK viewing when up against the other 99% of non-bike shows. Reckon the earlier eps were best with Vinnie involved - and the shouting matches were still new...

Was 'American Chopper' the first bike building show on the telly? Dunno, but I think they deserve plenty of credit for the rash of bike building shows and motorcycle shows on the TV in general.

This series rated it's head off and had non-biking people watching in droves (apparently). TV execs notice this stuff and good ratings makes for spin-offs. Now we have all the other 'Bike Builder' shows set in USA & OZ & Britain etc. Even Ewan McGregor and his round the World stuff had a link with the show.

If it's about bikes and it's on the telly I'll probably watch it.
