My thoughts on the Rocker

    G'day all,

    I had seen a few rockers around here and there, but never really had a chance to have a good look at someone riding one, but today I sat next to one for a few k's on the motorway and had a good look at it, and I have to say, I cant quite put my finger on it, but something just didnt look right, something was out of proportion or something, seat looked too high, and the guy looked like he was sitting too far forward. I am not trying to insult anyone or anything, just giving my honest appraisal, and, I am sure they are great bikes to ride, the guy looked like he was having a ball, but I dont think I would buy one somehow.

    they look better with a tank lift kit to raise the front of the tank up ...

    a mate of mine has spent heaps already but he just sent it to chopperworks the guy who did the JD rocker so he can get

    his like that..........

    might finally look good ... 65k later

    sorry ban sadly im sober  but you have to spend 65k so they look descent ......

    think id rather get BJC to build me one for that kind of $$$$

    I don't think they suck, just don't like them as much as the Rocker, wouldn't want this to turn into a "bag the FXR" thread or anything :P

    fxr...isnt that just a sportster .with a bigger motor????....  but I dont think I would buy one somehow.

    Hey none of it's personal, just putting up a defense, i listen to shit from bano every day about how much he hates the rocker, each to their own, just showing why i like it and yanking an fxr chain along the way, it's all good !! I've nothing against the fxr but i'm happy with my choice.
