I'm sure this topic has been touched on at some stage, but, could someone let me know how to check for water in the fuel without draining the whole show. My fatty stopped on me Sunday arvy after riding in torrential rain.It would turn over, but wouldn't fire up. The bike sat for half hour, then when i tried to start it, no hesitations, 1st hit of the button, and it fired up.I have had a ridemax fuel system fitted recently, am i right to think that the rain i rode in and the intermitent problem and the ridemax is coincidental. I s'pose i wanted to blame the ridemax, the guy that fiited it seems to think it just got a gut full of water. 2 other riders filled up at the same servos' as me and they havn't had any probs. I havn't had a chance to ride it yet to see if it's gunna play up or not.

Hi scotty, thank for the input mate, old mate reckons it sounds like the bike got a gut full of water, he didin't specify the r/max. As i said it might just be coincidental, i haven't had a problem with the bike since new, i go and do these mods and then i have dramas. Of cause old mate isn't gunna blame the ridemax, i'll go for another ride on Saturday, see what happens, hopefully all's well. Thanks also Top Bloke for the advice. Cheers
