Mrs has decided to get on the back (of the bike that is).

Obviously I'd need some pillion foot pegs, seat and a sissy bar. Any recommendations there?  What works and what doesn't?

run a Mustang Vintage Solo... with removable matching pillion.... plus removable sissy bar and of course the footpegs.

went with the Mustang because the standard seat is shite

    thanks gents.
I already have Mustang Vintage Solo and absolutely love the comfort, especially when compared to stock seat or a HD brawler seat. Just did over 1,000kms in two days with a very minimal discomfort. I suppose a matching Vintage pillion seat would be the go. What size pillion seat did you get Uncle Ho?

What type of sissy bar do you have?
Stix, where did you end up getting haullen ass from? I didn't know their products are sooo expensive!
How does that backerts compares to a standard sissy bar?

    vladt.

I have the Harley Sundowner seat that i use for riding two up and with the removeable sissy bar it works great . My girl can sit there all day without complaint . and the riders seat is nice and deep .

Then when she stays home ,one bolt and  back to the single seat

    highly recomended

    Uncle Ho,
Just ordered Mustang Pillion Seat (like the one you recommended). Is your Mrs. satisfied with the comfort?

I've also noticed that you have quick release side plates with detachable sissy bar. How did you manage to keep your indicators there?
Aren't they in the way when you try to remove side plates?

let me know how you go with the Mustang Vladt? Hey Stix... point taken but there is fcuk all difference between the HD solo and the Mustang solo I have..... the larger of the solo seats is of course different but is fugging huge as someone has already pointed out....

Uncle Ho, have the seat on order from Zanotti at the moment. Will let you know as soon as I have it here.

Stix - I am looking at haulen ass mini backrest instead of removable sissy bars/side plate/relocation kit/etc..
How good is this setup? Is the rubber that goes under the backrest enough to stop it marking the rear fender?
How well does it compare to the usual Harley factory setup? At tad over USD $200 it's certainly not the cheapest setup I've seen, but still half price of the HD setup.
Is it easy to remove between rides if required?

Got my Mustang Solo and HA.
Mustang Solo - awesome. Unfortunately my HA got bent up in transit. Sent it back for a full refund. Hadn't reordered yet. Mrs so far is happy holding on to my rather large self :)
Will get off my arse and get HA reordered shortly.
