Haha with Harley Davidson, two years won't see a change. Maybe 20 years.

There wouldn't be very much at all altered, both are EFI. There may be a thread on 2010 models around here that were posted when the 2010 models were annoucned, but the main news in 2010 line were the models that were completely dropped from production.

The  first ones that came out in 08 had shorter rear shocks, (US model?) other than that I'm not not aware of other changes.

2010 has the ecm relocated from under the seat to i believe in front of the oil tank and axle size could be different in the front but nothing major..

I understand that the 2008 model year featured the same 11.5-inch length shocks on the rear as the US models, but in 2009 and 2010 model years this changed to the longer 13.5-inch model because fat arse Americans complained that the bike was bottoming out under their burger eat back sides.

In the 2009 model you could option the rare skull/machined paint job which was around $2000 extra I believe. This was essentially a swirl pattern machined into the sides of the fuel tank and front and rear fenders, then the Willie G Skull painted into the machined areas.

In 2010 a more pronounced change occurred with the ECU system. This was moved from under the seat (where is sat in a hole that was cut into the rear fender) to in front of the battery box. With this change the rear fender was now made solid without the hole, allowing Harley to release the springer seat optional extra set up. Older models can still have this fitted but you need to move the ECU and fill/replace the the rear fender.

Note also that the change in ECU location means that items like the Vance & Hines Fuel Pak are different for the 2010 onwards models, requiring a different wiring loom and plug as this was changed on these models as well.
