What a day was hot and was twistie and the fatty fatty fat fat is now on 700ish odd Ks . Meet up at the Mets for brekky saw Dave Andrew and Maddona , Beagle, Rowdy and Justine and Sporty Trace turned up late . After every one oooed and arrrred at my bike Jilli , Di, Rowdy, Justine and me headed off. Saw 2 cop cars at cannungra 1 on one of the bends going threw advancetown(guess) 1 photo shoot just past natral bridge, and one fancy blue car coming the other way just down a little further All 4 got threw with all points in tact. Drinks at tumbolgin pub. left and went the right way (no dirt) fuel at uki off threw nimbin and straight to the channon markets did what nedded to be done and off to the pub for lunch and drinks (lunch took for ever). Left there and was always worried that we were going to hi thjat dam dirt road we always hit . But not this time Jilli got us trew unscaved so no stone chips on the new bike . Mullin to highway and a quick ride up the highway. Thx for company Rowdy and Justine was fun hape you 2 had a good time aswell.

P.S. Sry Trace wasnt sure what happen to you but we found out at first stop .Jilli tried to text you back but at every stop no reception.

Hey guys... still not sure how I lost ya right from the start. I thought I was following you guys but discovered it was Delux and Monarofan heading up the goattrack, so stopped a bit further up to wait for you guys, thinking you were behind me, when I found my indicator had come off... so here's my pics from my very short day.

Yep. I sat there staring at it for a while trying to work out how the hell it came off as the nut inside the fender and through the fender strut is still tight as and the turn signal itself can't turn (obviously). But yes, the "bolt" is actually a double-ended threaded stalk which obviously doesn't go very far into the turn signal housing and it has stripped the first few threads out of the inside of the turn signal housing (which from Chicago HD is $220 so I'm not quite sure I want to ask how much a new one will be from M&W). Thinking I might try either a slightly longer stalk to see if I can get into the good threads or maybe take the sucker to someone who is gifted at drilling out and inserting a helicoil or similar. If those fail, then I guess I'll be ordering another one from HD....
