It's a charity ride that benefits the Shenton Park Spinal Ward.
Its the chosen chartiy for Perthstreetbikes.com and last year racked up nearly $100k from the MAD (Making A Difference) ride and bike raffle as well as all the other charity events they organised throughout the year.
    An extremely worthy cause.
Last year Billywhizz ran the show and shine section and it kicked arse (but I'm biased, I picked up a trophy)
I'm not sure if BW is going to run the show and shine this year, but I hope so.

This is definatley one to get behind.
Of course, if you wish to go on the ride AND enter the show and shine, i'm sure this will still be possible as it was last year.

    Current info from PSB

    MAD Ride 2008 - Sunday 30th November - Win a Trakdayz!

Yes thats right everyone, the MAD Ride is on again for 2008 and im excited to let you all know its happening on Sunday 30th November 2008.

But to make things a little more interesting, I would like to see if you, the riding public of PSB who make the MAD Ride "a ride" can guess the following 3 things:
    1. Where will this years MAD Ride start?
    2. How long (distance in km) will this years MAD Ride route be?
    3. Where will this years MAD Ride finish?

without actually knowing the whole truth cough cough...

I think its going to go from Mundaring to Northam and take over the festival

then again I have been known to be wrong
