Guys, at the risk of looking a complete dork I'm thinking of getting a screen for highway work. Won't be used a lot so has to be quick release. Found this on facebook but can't get a reply from the owner to see how it's going. I'm wondering if the low seat position plus drag bars drop your line of sight down too low. Can't get any real feedback from the dealer, other than come in and  try one, but they don't stock many anyway. This one looks like the compact, rather than touring screen, plus of course there are smaller sports screens but they don't have the quick release. All advice appreciated.

Steamer, thanks a heap. My understanding was that you are supposed to look over it. I guess you are not having any issues looking through it though or you'd have mentioned it. Does it change the ride at all? Handling, steering etc.

    Nooooooo an IRON Dresser Noooooo

How about the stone fairing http://www.zpower.com.au/catalog/index.php?cPath=1325&name=Universal+Windshields mate it would look like the XLCR cafe racer, to de gloss it rubb it down with 0000 wire wool it would be flat black.

They sit up about about 250 mm above the headlight it would deflect the windblast off your chest.

    Just an idea Brucey

Hi bud I just purchased a detachable shield part #58063-04 which is standard height attached to a custom 883.If you are concerned about whether you will have to look through it don't get a tinted one I don't have any issues with looking through it. The only negative thing is you get lots [and I mean lots] of wind hitting you in the face extremely noisy which is a problem if you have a helmut with a visor [not full face] you lose all the drag on your upper body though. If you plan on fitting it on some of the bigger bikes you have to move all your cables ie clutch, brake and throttle. I got this one for $490 after being quoted $600 plus a couple of weeks prior.

This one looks a bit lower than normal and via ebay (USA) is a couple of hundred dollars cheaper, delivered, than bought locally. Part # 58703-09
