There is an 09 mod Fatbob with only 3000ks on it at Heavy Duty Mototcycles, its looks the goods, has a 103 kit, pipes, air filter, etc, they want 28 1/2 for it.

He said it had 8gs extra spent on it, I said whats the cash price tomorrow and I will catch the plane up, he said the price is the price.

I said I'm going to have to get NSW rego, Stamp Duty blar blar   -   the price is the price sir!!    - well the bikes still there.

I had the feeling I would have to fat up to fill the tank full of juice, they wern't rude - just wouldn't budge, so I will give some else my money sooner or later.

The thing i notice with stealers is if they put 8k in extras on a bike you pay for it,
If you put 8k in extras on your bike they'll give you the price for a stock bike on trade.

Yep, they don't miss us - also if I want the "warranty" they offer, I have to get it back to them, over 1800klms away, so I said no warranty - whats the price now, same price sir!
There is obviously people buying their bikes - not me, I want some kind of a discount!! for 28 gs you think they might throw in a pair of sunnys, a helmet or a vest - anything.
I really didn't like no warranty

Yes Hilly, no massive rush - a gooden will turn up, the salesman told me that once you change the motor - 103 kit, you (more or less) loose your warranty anyway, the big thing for me with there warranty is that I have to get the bike back to them, 17hr ride for me, or heaps of $$ on a truck to freight it up, they wouldn't let me take it to the local dealer near me

No they didn't do the work and I couldn't get the owners name, It is on consignment, they probably think I would go behind there backs on the deal

That wasn't a bad price, no warranty is the issue, I would have given him 27 1/2 maybe, I like it, and I just happen to be going up to Brissy next week or the week after, it will still be there

Yes the Dealer who sold you the bike and did the work, even if they just do the work they will give you the warranty - you just have to take it back to them.
This bike I want is miles away from me - when I asked if something went wrong with it can I get it fixed at my local dealer they said no, bring it back, so I said to him - there is more or less no warranty then - he said you have to bring it back here, thats it

Yer thats fair enough to stick to your $$ when you want to sell I suppose, they know my offer and haven't called - there is better buys around than that one though, I might just keep on saving and get a newy yet!
I have been getting a few different prices on new ones over the last week - when I started looking around the new price was $28,200 for a 2010 Fatbob from most, I had a much better offer the other day without asking.

Thanks for that Rob, I have been looking at all these bikes, and nearly bought the one in Adeliade, I have the $$ for a new one now (never had a new one)
I have a few good jobs coming up which will get me over the line for Stamp Duty - Rego, the pipes, Air filter and TTS unit for a start
