XR1200 TTS map?

    Hi guys,

Been lurking around the site since I did a search on TTS and Harley.   Some great info and knowledgeable guys here.  Hopefully I can eventually pick up enough to give some back.

Anyway, I have just completed my first v-tunes and was a bit surprised by the VE results with up to 20% variation between front and rear cylinders and would like to compare results with someone who ran a similar setup.  I know it differs from bike to bike but it should be close......shouldnt it?

So does anyone have a TTS map for an XR1200 with Remus exhaust I can view?  I would like to compare some VE values.

Also any tips on how to achieve hits above 20% throttle.  I tried to use a consistent throttle to achieve contant rpms to get enough hits with the software but this limited results to 20% max TPS.  If I use say 50% throttle the bike will fly through the 3000 to 6000 RPM range.....you cant maintain constant revs around the local area....no consistent hills....too many cops.   Will you still get hits if you are flying through the rev ranges?

    Cheers

    Thanks Ozroder.

I have managed to get up to 60% TPS and have done a few quick runs with adjusted AFR's.  Runs so much better than stock and pulls like a train around 2500 to 4500 with the remus.   After having filled in more cells the 20% differences between front and rear are fewer than the first run and he whole map makes a bit more sense.

I have blended the values across the table to the right but struggle with the logic of them being the same as the last known value.   Makes more sense to me to run a $50 WOT dyno run and then blend last known value to the 100% value.

All good.....I wish I had a bit more time to play!

    Scotty,

I have followed a simple rule when tuning anything (EFI or carby) that you might like to comment on.

Never remove fuel or add timing unless you know you are rich and motor isnt knocking.

I would happily blend cells up but not down.

    cheers
