A while ago my 05 FXDX started having electrical problems. The engine check light was comming on and the motor was miss firing. The ECU was giving varied and often conflicting error codes. After much buggerising around I removed the whole wiring loom and found it had worn through where it passes between the gearbox and exhaust pipe. I retaped it. No problems now. I have noticed a similar problem on many Dynas. I recommend all riders should check the loom in this area.

I've had injector wiring problems on my bike. Mine was missfiring also but my powercommander was masking the error code, so it wasn't until I pulled the PC3 off and went for a ride that I found out what the problem was, a broken injector wire.
