Does using Mobile V2 oil in the gearbox-primary, cause the gearbox to be 'clunky' when putting into first gear?
Does the 20/50 oil cling to the clutch plates, and cause the clunking, and stop them from spinning freely, when disengaged?
Nothing will stop a sporty from clunking when engaging 1st gear. A longer warm up in the morning with plenty of clutch manipulation will lessen the clunk, but Harleys love a good 1st gear clunk.
How else do you know it's in 1st?
Pro Blend make a Product called Cool Cruisin . Designed for HD Transmisions .They claim that it will stop the Clunk
