Did my first self service before the last Rt run and saved a sh!t load of money. One thing that stood out was the fact that the aircleaner element (screaming eagle) was not seated on the back plate properly, the metal mounting plate on the element was bent.
All services to now were done by the dealer, it pays to check that things fit correctly or it could be costly.

No, I have about 7 months to go but I think that as long as things are done in accordance with HD service manual it should not pose any probs. I wrote and signed the service manual that I have done what is required and a bit more. I think that has more relevance in resale etc.
