Got a 2 5/8 tacho cheap from the good ol and I knew when I got it the bracket wasn't gunna fit, am wondering if anyone has fitted one and what bracket did you use. Have removed the standard bars and risers so the part number for an FXDF won't fit. Risers and clamp are off my old FXD. Cheers and thanks for any help in advance.
As it hasn't stopped raining in SE Qld for weeks I decided to wire it up today, easy job, lots of info around on the net. Now just have to wait for USPS to get the bracket to me, at least it's left the U.S. Bracket includes the top handle bar clamp, should look ok, part number is 67277-05
Looked into that and found lots of info from people putting the signal wire into the #3 plug position at the speedo connection. Some of the instructions I found showed this as the way to do it and it will do the job but alot of them had problems with it so I fitted it to the #3 plug at the ECM as most of them did to fix the problem, just had to go to the dealers and buy a connector pin to push into the plug and ran all the wires under the tank..

Just fitted a combination Speedo/tacho in my Fatbob.
It replaced original speedo & took all of 10 mins to fit.
Everything plugged straight in .
