    G'day Guys,

I was just wonderin' if anyone knows the best place to get that foam they use to shape surfboards, or something like it? I have used it before years ago,but cant remember where I got it from, I know it wasnt a surfboard maker, but other than that have no recollection. That stuff is magic, it is dead  easy to shape, and I have a few custom bits I wanna make up for the bike and its great to make a pattern to send off to the foundry for casting. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Did you try Clarke Rubber. They usually have a large selection of Foam type materials. Maybe not surboard foam, but similar.

What  you are after is a high density urethane.  Some of them are two pack and others are blown as is.  If you can get some industrial grade polystyrene it can be shaped as well....good luck,...  beagle

That'll be thermal insulation grade urethane. Try any of the refrigeration insulation suppliers. This used to be glass coated for esky boxes etc.in the old days.
