G'Day all. Just a quick heads up. There is an Australia Day ride put together by the locals around Picton. Leaves from the tennis club at Picton, just up the road from the pub, 9am. Over a 100 bikes and will head down to a pub at East Bowral where the owner has a band etc arranged. Dont know anymore than that Im afraid as im just an invitee.

G'Day mate, look as far as I know its all systems go!!! Soorry dont have much info, was invited along by some locals....called the bloke on Saturday to confirm and he said its gonna be a ripper group. Welcome to join mate....tennis club is apparently just off the main drag near the Ambo station

Quick update....will try and get some pics up shortly. 130+ bikes showed up. 1st stage we went from Picton in a big loop out thru Oakdale and the Oaks then thru to Thirlmere Pub. 2nd stage down to the Pub at Suttons Forest near the Bundanoon turn off.....all back roads thru Glenquarie etc, no highway at all.......Had bands on a semi out front, mechanical Bull rides etc. 3rd stage big ride thru Kangaloon etc and out to the Scottish Arms at Bowral. Really well organised, every roundabout, turn or junction had organisers blocking the road....kept the pack together. Damn great day....no breakdowns or trouble of any kind. Next year will be HUGE!!
