bout as close as i can get but me and the better half half chosen the ktm 990 smt because of the tank size
this probably dont belong here but does any one know why there are 67 ktm dealers in aus but only 45 bikes being released here
we are looking at doing some long trips with great memories and pics so stay tuned
by the way we get married soon so have a drink for us and i will have one for you
cheers all and let you know how it goes
FFS
some prick stole the badges already
not really
treatment stopped working about 2 months ago and all the tumours have doubled in size
trying radiation on my head again and fuck it is painful and when they did scans i now have 13 in the head so more chemo as well. getting married end of feb and my quack said they will do their best to get me there. fingers crossed for that oone. spread to spine and coming home from bathusrt i bloody sneezed and broke my t8 vertibrea and let me tell you that was very painful. biggest one now is 2.5 cm in my right rear head and it gives me grief but laughin lucerne seems to help. thats why i got rid of the harley and god help me if i get better there will be another on the cards. still got all the riding gear but they are too heavy at the moment, lung cancer has also tripled but that is not the issue rite now its the bloody head and as you may have read on another thread you would not wish this upon your enimies. started palative care so i will keep you up to date as it goes along
cheers all and have a beer for me
G'Day mate, sorry to hear the treatment isn't going to plan. Having owned a Kato 990, and the BMW R1200GS Adventurer, I would sugest you take the GS out for a test run. Far superior bike (IF YOU INTEND TO TRAVEL WITH THE BETTER HALF)
Shaft drive is also a lot better and virtualy maintenance free.
If you were flying solo, I wouldn't hesitate and go for the Kato.
Good luck with your decision.
Nice looking toy and still a V-twin.
cheers Surly
thanks guys
went down and bought 2 of them today so flying solo as tapey says. mate has got the OTHER BIKE and just was not 100% happy with it. Ash from kessner really looked after us and they should be here end of next week so pics to come
cheers
