just a heads up to a problem i had with my 412s , they lost oil on the vets runs a few weeks back , figgerd a seal had gone,as oil was everywhere, done about 4000k on them, shop got a new set in on warrenty and when they took the left 1 of it fell apart into two halfs , it had snapt the main rod , they also had never seen one snap b4 , im sure its from riding on the back wheel to much , time to stop that im thinking , so if u hear the rattles of a shocker get onto it asap

Unfortunately not all that unheard of with Progressive shocks.Have heard it happening to a few different models.

I had the same thing happen to a set of Progressive 412s also.  But mine went within 1,000ks.  They were replaced under warrantee, but took 4 weeks to arrive.  Seems there may be quality issues with the product.
