I got the Big Radius pipes put on my Fatty, the RideMax fuel system has made a big improvement. I haven't ridden anything with a fuel system change so i can't really compare, but, what i found, the RideMax is a plug in system, (fitted in 15mins) it's a blue tooth unit with a remote control thingy to switch from power/economy. I found it works great in auto. The remote thing can be mounted on the bars, but i just leave mine in the saddle bags. There's a big improvement in throttle responce, and GO, "yeehaw". The remote thing is battery operated(of cause), the manual says a 90day battery life, don't know what happens after that. I got a spare battery just in case. It's one of then lithium batterys, the ones you can't buy anywhere handy. The unit was $450, supplied by EC Customs. The pipes look a treat, and i know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, there "LOUD". We'll see how things go out to Thunderwest this weekend

Well, me old mate RockerC and i went out to Thunderwest last weekend, I used the run as an opportunity to really test the ridemax fuel system. No problems from my place to Maitland, apprx' 110k's. Topped up the fuel with 98 high octane(as usual). Went to leave Maitland, started good, pulled up at the 1st set of lights, stalled, started, stalled, started, wouldn't idle. Went like the clappers, just wouldn't idle. Got to Scone, topped up fuel, idled, went like a scalded cat, no more problems. Coming home, ran like a dream, what i was impressed with was the top end power, 6th gear cruising at 110, roll on the throttle and off you went. Bottom end power, there wasn't much difference to the standed ECU and slipons i was running. Got to Maitland(different servo), fuelled up for the last leg before home, from Stroud to Home (last 30 odd k's) it ran like a distempered dog. It was floggin with rain, but i've ridden it in rain like it before and had no probs. I got to the foot of my driveway, and it stopped, and would not go, my kids came out and pushed there smelly soaking wet old dad and his pride and joy up the drive way and into the shed. It sat for about half hour, i went out and tried it and away it went. I rang the guy who fitted it and he seems to think it got gut full of water, is there any way of telling if there's water in fuel without draining it? My wife cringes when i get the tool box out....
At the end of the day, the ridemax fuel system is excellent for top end power, i know the V&H Big Radius has a bit to play in all this as well

The bike would go like the clappers, but on decelerating and going down through the gears, it would stall. I took it back to the workshop and they replaced the Ridemaxx system no questons asked. I was told there was moisture in the system. It's still not fixed, the speedo has stopped working as well. I asked some other Hog' owners at the pub and found out it could be the "Speed Sensor", W.T.F is that?  stay tuned for more, i'm sure there's gunna be some.

I'm hearin' ya Ando, wish i had gone with the TTS in the first place. But, i just had mate here who had the same probs as my bike and he had to replace the "Speed Sensor" and the computer. His is an 08 Heritage, all he's done is changed bars, nothing else. I'll give 'ol mate 1 more try and see how we go. thanks for the input anyway man. Cheers

Got all the shit sorted, now it's time to review the Ridemax system, man, i'm impressed, i take it the Ridemax is relatively new, and i do also know you only get what you pay for, but if the Ridemax impresses me at the bottom of the scale($450), then the Thundermax would scare me at the top of the scale. I haven't had a lot to do with performance parts, but i can say, my bike idled slower, ran cooler, ran smoother and went like a racehorse flogged with a whip. Top end power is very impressive. I would like to see how a thundermax goes, or even a PC, just to compare. But, bang for bucks, I'm impressed with the Ridemax.
