Glad its half the ride that Morwell was last week, cos about lunchtime last week there was a ton of 4-wheels knobs infesting the whole area. If shoveltrouble and I had sawn-offs on the bike we'd have been using them with regularity.

Pretty cool day out. AC/DC played live, Mel Gibson arrived in his Interceptor and Walka battled off vermin in the Pakenham wastelands before ripping off gas from a tanker.

Injokes out of the way, it was great fun. You've got to love weather about to piss rain and then a dirty hot sun, repeated four of five times in the afternoon. Some nice cars, including some fine Ford (yeah, I know) X-series coupe's, a HOLDEN V8 Supercar, a super sounding SS - and Walka may have picked up another trophy. We should call him Arsenal... Always winning trophies. Actually we'll call him "Dandy" given they announced his surname today as 'Warhol'...

The Vietnam Vets have a great clubhouse and are very hospitable. Props to them for that. Lots of kids enjoying it, a Ford getting massacred by the SES and about 6 burnouts too, plus one of the best bass players I've seen in a band from this country in a LONG LONG time. And yes, not from Australia - he was American. The guy was totally blues, an Afro-American cat-in-the-panama-hat. And he personified 'cat'. Shame he was only playing covers with some just-alright other folk onstage.

Nice to meet some new folk at the Klubhouse, to see seaeagle after a long while and ride with the regulars. And heres a "g'day" to Hootin too who couldn't get there today, hope all's good.

On a positive note the "Harley toolkit" came to the rescue and the cable ties did theri job and my new niece is a good looking as her uncle

Oh ya crackers, that was nasty. I only noticed it late before we arrived and figured it was held on with some string and must happen all the time. I hope it turns out that you get some custom paint on the tins.

And as for slowing down, walka told us to only go 80 for the bobber. He meant 80 miles per hour hehe. Ireland is still breaking his bike in and he didn't want to hustle with any of us hahahaha! He even left and gave himself 7 hours to get to AC/DC's show

Another good day guys, I'll have to keep a hat on board, after the sun came out my bald head was toast! Great to meet Rodders, Ireland and Crackers, great to catch up with the others and enjoy a brew. I'm pissed off at Maples though as now I have the urge to go and rent Mad Max! I'll have to keep an eye out for Ozrodder's mates.

You can cheat flattracker. Look up Mad Max part 1 on youtube and watch it there on the cheap. You have to download all ten or so parts, but its easy enough done to load a few ahead while you're watching the first
