hi guys i am looking to purchase a new sundowner seat for my sporty very soon jsut wondering if anyone knows of a dealer in aus that will give me a good deal as the local dealer here wants 460 and i want to try avoid ordering out of the states so any input would help im in gladstone,

that sounds like a great deal but i sort of want to keep my badlander in case i want to chop and change hey, i have the missus on the back most of the time but sometimes i like to ride alone and i love the look of the badlander,sorry hey, and i am currently looking at a few on ebay they are only like 310 from the us postage and everything but im unsure of buying out of the states

Hey Nimo, a lot of guys on here have bought from this mob, and they all report very satisfactory service. Unlike Ebay, which your dealing with an unknown, these people are professionals. I have my first order on the way from these people, and to date, the dealings with them have been excellent, no problems at all. Have a look through some of the posts in different sections and you will see the number of people who are happy customers of theirs. Also, they use paypal, so no need to worry giving people CC details.

hey 3737pisces, just wondering how much would you sell your sundowner for??? i can get one for like 250 australian bucks and i am sick of riding on my badlander and getting a sore arse lol, im not overly worried about the look as i have the gf on the back most of the time so its for her comfort also,

hi 3737pisces, i just realised that your seat wont fit my bike as mine is an 07 model and the model changes at 06, the 07 model apparel is different im looking in my parts catalogue and the part number for your seat is 51507-04 fits 04-06year models and the part no for mine is 51739-07 and fits 07 and later so they are actually different seats, which really sux because im trying to avoid buying out of the states due to possible long waiting period, but if you know of anywhere in aus that i can get a seat for 230 australian bucks plus postage, then please let me know, i would have bought your seat if it fit my bike as the small insignificant damage dont bother me as you wont see it thanks heaps for the offer though very much appreciated, :-)

thanks 3737pisces, yeah im currently watching 3 seats on ebay but they are all from the states, and ive emailed one mob in the us about there prices and postage and timeline to receive the goods and havent heard back yet, yes you do have to be careful when trying to interchange parts cause some bits will be compatible and some wont, you should check out the link that dragon sent me on here its where im prob looking to buy my seat from at 215 us plus postage but i waiting to hear back from them as to how much it will cost for postage and time it will take to get here, good luck with finding your new forcewinder nimo07sporty out :-)

hi all ive decided to buy my sundowner seat and sissy bars etc from the states, from mandmcycles ordered them today so now just gotta wait and see what happens and how long till the goods get here thanks all for the input

I have bought thousands of dollars worth of gear from M&M with only one minor hiccup (sent wrong version of a part) and they fixed that to my satisfaction.

Shipping can take a few weeks so be patient and use the tracking number they will send you when the goods are shipped.

thanks surly i have been sent receipts to say that pay pal has paid my order but the money still hasnt come out of my bank so im hoping it all goes well, thatnks for the input surly ill use the tracking no to keep tabs on it

finally got my seat finally put it on and went for a ride cause it wasnt raining think i gotta get used to it,new seat from m&m and sissy bar for the girl went for a 50 k ride and alot better than the badlander, haha, but has changed my riding position so gotta get used to it and wear the foam down a bit lol, but im soo looking forward to going on a decent ride soon with my woman in toe she loves the sundowner and 'SISSY' bar, and i can finally give my bike the revs it deserves without worrying about her falling off will change my pic soon and show use all

Good onya Nemo. Let me know how it goes cause Im thinking to get one too. Sundowner for the kids on the back and a nice solo for the rest of the time. The standard seat gives me such a numb bumb. and yeah yeah, I know a spoon full of cement and......

It would be great to see some pics of the seat on. I got my box of bling a couple of weeks ago and installed last weekend.

ok then havent had much of a chance to go for a ride as its been raining here for the last week so will let you know what its like, and yes il try post some pics soon jsut gotta get around to it as my bloody shift work takes up alot of time grrr oh well, and yeah my badlander gives me numb arse after like 50 ks but i still got all my stock parts

i got a Sundowner for my sporty a while ago and it made a big difference for the missus...
it dont look too flash, but i didnt buy it for its looks and only put it on when riding 2up

I'm in the market for a Sundowner seat (and yes it's to keep the missus comfy) it's for an 09 sporty 1200C, what year is the seat you have (or p/n so I can check if it will fit).
Also I'm looking for a sissy bar.

Not sure the seat is compatable with an 09 custom, accesories book shows sundowner seat for 07 and up nightster is p/n 51736-07 but 1200C 07 and up needs p/n 51739-07.

yeah my seat is good but i think i gotta wear it in if i get into a good posy im good but havent had the chance to go for more than a 140k ride as yet fucking raining here still, since i got my seat the gf loves it but it does sit you more upright but im soo used to the badlander leaning back but ill get used to it lol, it is more comfy but its new to so gotta get used to the new seating posy, you have the right part no dave T,the o7 later one, so will keep you all posted about my new seat bought from M&M cycles great service and delivery time thanks M&M
