Just finished the first round of mods and come back from a spin.... Standard baffles in the Sideshots are loud... but the tinny sound is more of a concern to me than the noise - Will have to order some quiet baffles.

Installed the parts myself ( Sideshots / SE Heavy Breather and Power Commander V) Had the most trouble trying to squeeze the PC-V into the small gap under the seat.... just don't fit unless you put the connecting plugs in front of the battery box area (close to the rear cylinder... but not too close).
Looks good stock... but I'd planned the denim black / V& H Black Sideshot combination months ago...
Come next pay... more mods on the way!! Cheers
- I do have a question though.... The Black sideshot look is what I want. but sound ( Tinny and loud is concerning... - I believe Hooker have a Black Ceramic Exhaust System - Has anyone had any experiance with these??
The vance and hines all sound a bit tinny when new allow them to carbon up a bit inside and that noise will slowly disappear
I have the bigshot staggers on mine - o8fatbob and I put the quieter baffles in and they make it sound a lot deeper note
just give them a 1000km's or so
you should notice the difference in the sound
