Burnt plastic on pipes.. Any ideas on how to remove it ?

    Does anyone know how to remove burnt on  plastic from exhaust pipes.
     
    I think I must have hit a plastic bag and its left a very nasty mark.

    Oven cleaner works great, Then to get the last bit of crap off use 0000 steel wool and wd40/rp7.

    Ahh yes the burn't plastic on the muffler trick! i used this one to customise my bike once very clever i know where you are going with this one! very very smart.

    Oven cleaner followed by a LOT of rubbing with Autosol .

     

    Worked well
