does anyone have one of these fitted to a shovel?
i have been in contact with S&S and they say you can use it as long as you dont run the primary oiler.

my case is cracked and even though i am getting it welded  the idea of not having something spinning on a repaired area appeals
just wanting some feedback before shelling out $180 bucks aus for one.
    thanks

by the way they are meant for an evo

    Hi Bisonlee,
Owned a Shovel for 20 years and tinkered with it a fair bit. Current ride is an 89 Heritage which I bought with a blown motor and rebuilt. I installed one of the reed S & S breathers as there was a bit of damage to the case in that area. It works great and have had no trouble with it, it should work just as well on a Shovel. The guys at S & S told you it's ok as long as you run a sealed primary and not the recirculating oil through the primary stock set up. This is because if any gunk or metal bits caused the reeds to stick open you would have BIG Trouble.
Run it with a sealed primary and it will be sweet.
    Regards,
