Has anybody been running metzlers. Thought I would try a set instead of the HD Dunlops on the Heritage. Would value any comments. Thanks in advance.

much better grip wet and dry, much easier to roll of the middle i feel alot more confident in tight corners till i start to scrap exhaust and side stand :D

never felt that confident in the dunlops. i also have 16" front and rear tyres ......

they wear real well except when ya do burn outs :D

Won't use anything else on my Heritage. Regularly get around 20,000 out of the rear and got 30,000 out off the front. Don't hoon on them and tend to ride long distance. Secret is to keep the pressures up. I run 39 rear and 34 front. Stix is right though, when they get past the halfway point, you need to adjust your riding style a tad.

I found the dunlops terrible and wouldn't use them again. Hopeless grip in dry and scary in the wet. Harley uses them because they get a good deal with them. No different to manufacturers of any goods. I've used a couple of michelin commanders and found them good. Just trying avons now. Grip good so far.

    Well folks,
I've just got the metzlers on. Firstly, on the first corner, having a rear tyre that wasn't seriously squared off from doing highway miles was a bit different. Once they're scrubbed in I'll give them a proper shove and see what happens. The tread patterns a bit different, probably from looking at Dunlops for fifteen years. They were under $400 fitted so I really can't complain if I don't like them. Thank's for the interest shown by the feed back.

all the tryes i had were good new its how they wear and handle towards the end of there milage ,some wear different hence different handling ,for wet weather goin slower is safest option ,tyre pressure is critical
