Loud pipes.

At the risk of sounding like a girl... I'm gonna ask this question.

I bought my 08 Dyna which has slip on S&S pipes on it. They look great, but they are loud.

I've already had a bit on unwanted attention when a copper had a quick word. I explained I had just bought the bike and that they were on it when I bought it. He was pretty good about it!!!!!....

I don't want to put the stock pipes back on as there are too quiet.. Is there another option that's not quite so loud?.

    Thanks
    John

I just put a pair of Screaming Eagle slip on's on mine, they are fairly quiet compared to a lot of others, but are shit loads better than stock.

Another good thing with them is if the coppers do haul ya up with them on just point out the Harley Davidson stamp on em' play stupid and claim they are factory ;)

What KiwiDave said, that works. last time i got pulled up for loud pipes was with a Shovelhead, i rolled up a length of chook fence wire and put it up my pipes used a bolt to stop it coming out. past the test no prob, but the ol shovel was ok to make 100dec as was pre imission. but that chrome works or a set of baffles from Sonic in melb would work, i would go with sonic as same country as i'm in. i use sonic cycle shack style duels no cross over on my twin cam and if goes hard enough for a 95"
