Gidday all,
I'm new to this forum, hope Im in the right topic page. I planned a trip with my lovely wife for a ride to Bundy yesterday along with a couple of other bikes and their partners. Leaving Gladstone onto Fingerboard I noticed the bike had bottomed out a couple of times and the suspension was very sloppy. I checked the underside and noticed one of the shocky mounting bolts had sheared off leaving the rear ended supported by only 1 shock. All I could think of was what could have happened had the other bolt sheared. One of my friends had the same thing happen to his 86 softail a couple of years ago. Is this a regular fault with the factory softail suspension, can I improve my shocky mounting method wether it be high tensile bolts or even a whole revamp and replacement of the suspension. Any advce would be geatly appreciated.
Cheers

Cheers mate, appreciate any feedback at all
Thanks gents for your feedback, I dropped my bike off at the shop yesterday and had both bolts replaced. Happy now, back on the road.
