G'day.   got a 3 inch bdl  belt drive on my softail and need to know the size and thread of the button allens you get to fix the chrome covers over the pulleys, belt was fitted by previous owner so i dont have the fitting instructions. have phoned a couple of shops that sell em but they were not much help as i didnt buy it from them. it would make it easy if i know the size to ask for.    cheers....

Mate, unless you have a thread gauge and a Zeus book, then just take a cap screw down to the fastener shop and they will help you out Im sure

thanks Hound Dog, did just that the other day,but too small to measure. old mate sorted it out last night, drill bit 9/64" and tap was 8NC 32 .
