ignition module

    g'day can anyone recomend a good ignition module. the pro's and con's of different types etc.

    yer i thought of that after i posted it . i got a 2001 fatboy with samson cannon big guns exhaust ,cv carb with s&s teardrop aircleaner,carby jetted to suit.

    I have to agree with Scotty on this one. Unless it's a keeper, save yourself the cash. An upgraded module will give you the potential to get a few extra revs from the top end, however the motor in it's current trim will struggle with it. You would need to outlay on cams, head work and a professional tune to really benefit from it. What ever dough you spend on it, remember, can be kissed goodbye if you decide to upgrade in the short to medium term.

    thanks guys i was always taught that with any motor you get them breathing in an out first then bump up the spark, then give it cams and head work.
