Myself and Surly are going for a liesurely ride down south and meet up with some of the forest dwellers and mushroom munchers..... Sunday 10th Jan......And if Daz is lucky we may catch up with him along the way
Meet point is Erskine Caltex 8.30 am ish.....
Some of the towns we intend to visit include DonnyBrook, Bridgetown, Ballingup, Pemberton and Northcliffe.....not nescessarily in that order

Fark the Xmas pud must have gone through the system and left every-one hungry for some riding Spoke to the VCO (vertically challenged one) today and were gonna meet up at Sues rd turn off to Vasse hwy.....Looks like this is gonna be a bit of a mystery tour as they are when the southern belles arrange stuff.....
The route will include Manjimup and lunch at Northcliffe, the locals will welcome our return I'm sure

Top day (12 hours riding and 798 kms). Thanks BT for organizing..............good to meet up with the southern crew and sample some of the excellent country roads down south........even though those boys ride at warp factor 7...... Good effort by Bakes getting home in one gear after his misadventure just out of Pemby.

What a blast of a ride, good to meet up with the sourthern belles again, and all new ones I never met before. I gave the the big black bloody beast a bit of a work out down there and it just loved it, and so did i.

And it was commented to me when we where refueling at the Caltex just south of Bunbury, "The centre of the universe should be here and not Mandurah" and from scantilly clad women that I saw I have to agree

Close to twenty bikes and a few new faces......Pisspour and some of his mates from Bridgetown, Trinket and some of her mates from Bunbury and Dazza, Billy, Larry and Andij from the deep south....
Gotta give kudos to Johno and PIB for making the effort Perth side.....We can't forget BAKES either, he was a late starter but caught us at Gellorup....

The day started cool and clear until we got this reception.....as it turns out Piggy got singled out for having an illegal numberplate....The cop thanked us for not exceeding 125

We got to Northcliffe with no probs, had a feed and a beer.....The locals were friendly too, maybe cos Col wasn't there
Ando doing his mechanical majic on Bakesy's bike....He be a very lucky man having the gearbox seize and jamb in 5th gear, snaking of the road into the gravel and bush....at a modest speed thankfully
