hi guys, with the latest harley motor,the 96, what is the best or the first performance upgrade i should do?and i intend on geting pipes done when i order the bike"deluxe" speeking of pipes whitch ones as in slip ons? honest answers app.

Pipes. AC and a good tune (TTS has everything that you can do bar a Dyno) Mate they are a money it in the end, you will never stop... But a lot of fun

Geez mate ... how long is a bit of string really depends on what you want out of your bike.

I have been going through the same, trying to figure out what to put on - that said I am no expert and don't have the experience some of the guys on here do, but here's what I found.

You can do mufflers/exhaust without worrying about air or tuner, if you then do the air cleaner will need to do something with the tuner to get it running good and make the most out of the bits you've put on, you can go different ways with replacing the tuner if you want to get the most out of your bike or piggyback devices which are generally for those who don't want to muck about, there are even the XiED's if you just want a little performance gain without spending heaps

Check out other threads in the forum, use the search in the Workshop sections, heaps of good advice on here

As for which slip on's .... good luck .... there are so many it will really come down to personal choice, if you are getting the dealer to do them pre delivery your choice may be limited.

Just my opinion.

pipes or good slip ons high flow air cleaner bolt in cam and upgrade in ign map will make most happy ,after this is horsepower junkies and endless opinions
