He doesn't need an FXR, he just went to the trouble of making some more corner clearance for his softy.

    have them on 07 train

more of a conehead sorta profile, lift the back about 1''
seems to roll into corners as opposed to tipping in with dunlop
didn"t seem as stable on the dirt as dunlop but seem to have got used to it now
dunnies look better but proly prefer dragons for bigger footprint in corners
    IMO only.

I replaced the dunlops on my 2007 fatboy which had done 8000klm on a new set of Renegade rims.
Both front and rear tyres had maybe 1000 to 1500 klm left
I replaced them with Pirelli Night Dragon Tyres and have done a ride to Mt Isa and back
over 4000klm on them now and they handle better than the dunlops
I am looking for better mileage and as the Pirelli Night Dragon Tyres have deeper treads i am hoping to get 12-14000km of these tyres
I dont ride hard but i ride city traffic often

good feed back fellas, im running Metzler Marathons at the moment, great sticky tyre but im lucky to get 5000k's out of them, admittedly i ride them hard but that kind of milage is pure crap, i too did'nt feel too confident on the Dunlops but i did get 8000k's out of them...so im gonna try the Perelli's aswell and see how we go...
