    Hi all,

Has anyone heard anything about the new Pirelli Night Dragon Tyres?

Is anyone running them and what are they like?

Looking at putting them on my bike so any feedback would be great.

    Cheers

don't no if this will help but i have just put pirelli dragons on my car and the tyre place put them right up on the top of the list. they seem to stick well on the road in the wet considering all the practice we have had lately and he has guarranteed me another 15 to 20 k's on the ones iam running now . we touched on the bike tyre subject aswell and he is hearing great feedback . good luck with it.

Yeah sparkie I had a rear 200 tyre fitted 1700 km's ago and hooked in straight away to scub it in and it held on like a fairly soft tyre. The grip was shit hot for a new tyre which was surprising because I'd thought it would move around a bit , but it stuck pretty well. Since then the primary has suffered a couple of times so I'm wrapped with the grip but not the damage. Wear wise at 1700 it still looks new but time will tell, 10000 to 15000 would be great but we'll see.

Fuck me dead!! I had night dragons fitted today.  I think mine will last a lifetime as I don't plan on going over 40kmh if that shit is going to happen!!

If only new primary covers were as cheap as tyres..........

just took the bike for a good run to see how the night dragons handle.  Needless to say I am impressed, they handle very well, depending on the amount of K's i get out of them, I will not be going back to dunlops.

It adds a bit of jaw drop to the conversation especially when ya talking to someone who reakons they're scrapping the pegs on every corner....
Well have a f--k'n look at this......

Do they make them in a whitewall? If not, what are the blackwalls worth?

So they are not really cheaper than the Dunlops ?? I don't understand what the problem is with the Dunlops (although it's good to have a choice) because I've been scraping both sides of the bike for ages now (although i haven't ground chunks of the primary away, mine bites into the kickstand first) and the Dunlops handle well and have never even come close to letting go. And no tyre should let go at the cornering speeds we are talking about.

balmain motorcycle centre, easy to find under google .  This is the third set of tyres I have used on the bike.  the first two were dunlops and I never felt comfortable with them, probably just my riding style.

No kerb rash mate, 120 k corner with a slight dip, cased out once, arse come off the seat when I came back down cased out again, feet came off the pegs not quite tank slappers but close, once I got my feet back on the pegs she settled down and then give it shit and powered out of the corner..Yeah shit myself but it was a good head rush........Kerb rash I don't think so........

I was wondering how ya did it, I had a similar thing happen in a slight dip through a corner at about the same speed but mine kicked the sidestand into the primary  which lifted the rear end off the ground a bit and threw me across double lines into oncoming traffic. Ya gotta love Harleys.

The rubber stopper on the kickstand was missing so that must of hit the ground and ripped it out
