Hi all,

anyone clued-up on the alarm light (the key shaped one on the speedo) and its functions? Mine lights up as per normal with the ignition on, stays on until 'engine check' light goes out.. Then, (whether motor is started or not) the 'key' light comes back on for approx 6 seconds, then goes out and stays out.

Any clues?

I don't understand your question - its the alarm light - it indicates your alarm is on. It lights up with the ignition (as they all do) to show the light is working, and I'd presume it runs a few checks when the engine is started before dropping into sleep mode.
