G'day all (I have to be serious for a second)

Some of you maybe aware that I'm participating in the "Rumble to the Rock" ride at the end of this month.

This ride is to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia who work tirelessly to educate and support men and their families about this and during this terrible disease.

Please check out the Prostate Cancer Foundation website for information. It may open your eyes, and maybe save your life! http://www.prostate.org.au/

The Rumble to the Rock website is http://www.freewebs.com/rumbletotherock/

But even better, wait for it, I want your money!! I've set up a web page on the Every day hero website that you, yes you can donate money directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia on behalf of me.

I have set a target of $5000, so all I ask is if you can help out it would be much appreciated.

All donations are tax deductable (bonus, money in the bank) and you recieve a reciept emailed to you at the completion of ur donation. Please leave a comment when making ur donation.

The web address is: http://www.everydayhero.com.au/Mick_Cullen (you even get to see a picture of me )

Thanks for supporting a worthy cause.

    Hi guys and gals

Thought I'd give an update as to how we are going in prep for the big run to the Rock (Uluru/Ayres rock) and the fundraising for the Prostate cancer foundation of Australia.

Got the bike serviced last week, bought bags and boots and winter woolies (I don't own jumpers and things living in the tropics) and rain gear, just in case.

We head off on Monday 28/04/08

So far I've managed to raise $6157   Even though I 've managed to raise a huge amount of cash in 2 and a bit weeks, only 1 forum member has donated . Thanks Fatboy for the lettuce.

If you can spare some coin, don't care how much, visit my website and donate. It is for a good cause.

I will keep you posted with pics and stories when possible on the ride, a round trip of a bit over 4000km in 9 days.

Hopefully the forum t shirts will be here to wear with pride on the trip

Fatboy, Uncle Ho, Bobtail and rkc. Very much appreciated. The ride was great and thanks for the support.

At this stage it looks like the Rumble maybe off to Broome next year.

Now I know why RT does long runs. Here I was out in the middle of nowhere, beautiful weather, not a care in the world, music blasting me ear'ols, thinking, how fuggin good is this!!
