G'day,

In the process of changing over my wheels.  The manual says to discard the bolts for the rotors and sockets and install new ones.  How important is this?  Is this the manufacturer just being a pain in the ass or is it just a matter of cleaning up the old ones and using threadlock on the bolts when reinstalling?

Any other tips welcome.

On the race bikes we always do as above BUT we re-use bolts specified for this purpose. Re-use bolts HD say to toss?????? Bugger it, pay twice as mutch and get the chrome ones that way next time you will only have to pay the same as this time.
