I'm keen on an overnight run on the 09/01 - 10/01. Thought I'd put a date up and worry about a location later. Lets see who's interested and work it out as we go. Leave before lunch on saturday (But flexible on that for anyone working in the morning)  maybe a two to three hour ride, beers, food, etc, crash somewhere, head back after a late breaky on the sunday.

One idea is whitfield, Three and a half hours away. nice twistyish roads getting there.  Used to go there a bit as a young fella. local caravan park ( http://www.gentleannie.net.au/  was always good, powered or unpowered camping sites for the boy scouts out there and also onsite vans for the less adventurous (read; can't be fcuked carrying all there camping shit) . Hot showers.  Campfires allowed etc. local pub down the road, king river to swim in.

I'm not to fussed on location, just keen to get out of town.

All clear for St Arnaud to be a go-er for these dates as well as an alternative.

The XR1200 is a crazed beast, well I think the person who is on it is more like that.  Going fast?  That's fun but I've found that its even more fun to be sitting around smoking hookah.

Might ride or car in to Celtic v Rangers for viewing at the Celtic Club in CIty tonight too.  Get your hoops on.  Always a good night out.
