Just had 4 days off work and it has rained everyday....go to work tomorrow for 1 day and then start my holidays. I really hope this rain goes away so i can get out for a ride. I have given my bike a really good clean hoping the rain would go away...but it hasn't. The rain is good for the farmers but not my riding...just my winge for the day...well the last 4 days... thanks i feel better now

I spent the last 5 days on Moreton Bay ,it rained , but that kept the wind away . Had a great time . Off to Cairns tomorrow (flying) That should be good too even though it's raining up there as well.

I don't understand what the problem is, I love riding in the rain. Isn't that what riding is all about?

Do all male riders feel this way?

I don't care what the weather is like. When I get that housebound feeling, I got to get out, rain hail or shine.

hi, ya should not have washed yer bike  thats whats happens when you wash yer bike ,  if you don't learn to handle slippery con'd  when wet how are you going to keep her upright when you hit a bit of gravel ?,    bikes are design to ride in the rain, thats why they put mudguards on them, the more you do it the more you will enjoy it  as long your front tyre is not more that 3 years old,

I have riden in the rain many times & it SUX'S , i personally get no joy from riding in the rain . also to make a crap ride in the rain worse , is coming home to a dirty HD that will take 2+ hrs to clean properly "stuff that" no joy in that .

Yes i have done my time in the wet, dont like doing it but will if i have to, living in Cairns for so long you have to ride in the rain. Had to ride to and from work in the tropical rain over slippery white road lines, and having to put up with car drivers that just seam to love hitting those big flooded sections of the road beside you, or coming towards you. At least the rain is warm up that way all year round.

I've ridden on & off for 30 years, I've more than done my time in the rain. I'm 50 years old, knees are shot to fuck & I own a nice little car that gets me around when it rains. The Harley deserves better than to be slopped around in the rain if theres no need to. I enjoy dry roads & dry weather, each to their own of course & if you wanna go racing around in the rain, then off ya go, your choice, but as I said, done my time... Cheers.
