Anyone know of any good accommodations in Colac for the Saturday night. The Jazz man and his missus are thinkin about staying Saturday night in or near Colac and then coming back through the Otways on Sunday?
Hello, Fatboygooch here from Colac, there is a couple of rooms left at the Baronga Moter Inn, maybe a bit quiter there. It has a Cafe Bar and a Restaurant (Fully Licencsed) and a In-Ground Pool. I stayed there 19 years ago on my wedding night. Should be good unless you want to stay at a hotel, not many other options in Colac. Checked price, Standard $110 for 2 or $135 if you want the spa. People head across the road at the Culture Bar after the show is finished for refreshments, or you can have a meal as well, people kick on there for the rest of the night. The Barong Moter Inn is in walking distance. Hope you get a nice day for the ride, plenty of bikes there last time, boys burnt a bit of rubber when leaving.

Well it was another top day at Colac, The weather was spot on, Mal and Crackers came along for the fun and support . There was a lot of Very Nice Custom and Vintage Bikes on display, I had some tuff competition in my class, for Best Sportster, The Carbon Fiber Ironhead that Shifter built was there, But once again my little bike had the crowds around it all day.and the judges loved it, I carn't believe that I won, I guss it all up to the Judge on the day. A Big Bear Chopper picked up Best Custom. and there was a amazing hand built triumph what got Best Chopper. I will have some photos up soon.

Congrats on the win Walka great looking bike ,read your message the next day. going to ride down to the big city for my first time to . American & british bike & car show.now i know what bike to look for, i come and say hello .if i see the bike there. Hope to make it there in one piece.maybe a little different. than riding around in the counrty.cheers
