Can you guys tell me is it a difficult job? Or just a straight forward bolt on and off? I've got a 95 fatboy with boards and want to put forwards on. Do i need to change brake lines or anything or just use the existing one? Thanks
Should be pretty straight forward, here's a thread where I installed forward controls on my '07 Sporty:

Thanks kingchops. I also fitted forwards to my sporty a few years ago and that was pretty easy. But i wasn't sure what the go was with these aftermarket brands etc. I asume you get all the bolts you need. Also I noticed that on the big twin forwards the master cylinder is all moulded in so i guess you must have to disconnect the brake line and reattach it????? I guess this means bleeding brakes etc - which i have never done. I love doing work on my bike myself to learn and also so i know that its done properly. Is there any special tools i might need??
Cool. Thanks kiwidave. I've ben looking at a few sets on ebay around the $450 - 495 mark. But just nervous about the quality of them.
piece of piss to fit , about 2 odd hours at a slow pace, if you put on extension plates you will need longer brake line and shift rod, other than that should be able to use existing stuff, bolt everything on , bleed the brakes and away you go
this set on ebay look ok,

Monarofan you must've read my mind. That set on ebay - i already e-mailed the guy about them. He says the brand is RPM??? never heard of them but i'll google them and see what i find. I think standard length should be fine too. Happy to hear its a straight forward fit. Now i'm seriously looking.
