    G'day HD Forums.

My name is Mat, my mates call me Hooky. Used this site for some info earlier in the year (reflector removal) and liked it so i joined. Live and work in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs but come from the Hunter Valley originally.

I'm still a P plater (6 months left) but when i heard Harley ceased production of the night train next year, i had to buy one. The bloody thing is sitting in the garage, teasing me as i type this.

It's in the matt black finish, V&H Big radius 2in2 black, SE super tuner. Tri-bar LED, Willie G skull bits n pieces. Want to lower it and chrome the front forks when $$ permits.

Look forward to hooking into all the valuable info on this forum and sharing when relevant.

    Cheers, Hooky.

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. Taff, i'm not "legally" allowed to ride it. But i had to ride it to work a few times to make sure there's nothing wrong with it, keep the fluids circulating, you know how it is ;)

Bano, i've been getting a lot of similar offers from my biker mates when they found out i bought it, everyone seems very generous when you get a new bike. None of them want to look after my 93 genny 250 when i go away though???

6 months. I am worried about the fuel sitting in the tank and the whole 'running in' process. I mean, i need to burn up the fuel in the tank as well as run it in properly.

    Welcome Hooky,

New myself.  I love the Night Trains, but they went outta production (they will come back eventually I am told).  Anyway I ended up with a Softie Custom 2009 model new off the floor - anyway welcome and catch you around somewhere (once you get your full license or maybe even when you aint got it)

    Cheer Big Ears,

    Burraburra

Welcome Hooky. There are a few of us in the eastern suburbs.

Keep in contact if you fancy a run locally.
