I didn't wan't to start a new thread so i hope this post attracts some attention. I'm after some advice in regards to the fuel sitting in my tank for a long time. I have limited mechanical/technical knowledge so i never jump into anything without getting info. With the fuel injection system on my bike, will syphoning the fuel out 'til empty and refilling it with new fuel cause any drama's to the bike? I know if you run an injected engine dry it's no good but what about syphoning?. Appreciate any advice.

Galloway, sounds good mate, just have to wait for my full licence. Until then, it's the Genny 250. Me and her almost weigh the same, i look stupid on it.

Yeah, thats a ripper. Can see why you rushed out and got one while they still were.

Back tyre looks like its been a little more than pushed in and out of the garage . Are you sure there is any fuel in the tank still

    Welcome aboard buddy.

I'm also new and in Eastern suburbs. Let me know if you end up taking it for a blast at night. There's a few of us that ride locally often and I seem to be the only one who gets pulled over. They love it as it always gets them off the hook.

    Must be driving you crazy.

I was riding on that street although around 12pm. Different clothes too. Funny - I met a guy yesterday at a cafe who was riding a new Fat Bob who matches that description. It sounds like him...
