I'm helping a good friend with a question he has about the cam chest components on his '05 Softail.  Wondering if anyone online has a Parts Catalog or can take a look at a picture I'll post to veryify a particular part is OEM.

Here's a pic of his camchest.  Since neither of us are sure, and don't have an '05 Softail Catalog, we're wondering if the retaining strap above the crankshaft bearing is OEM?  May be hard to see, but there's a retaining bolt at the 9:00 o'clock position and another at about 2:00.  Appears this "strap" is retaining the bearing/race from walking into the Camchest area.

I went back and looked at your pics of your cam swap and didn't see it in your Day 2 photos.  Was this retainer discontinued in 07 up models?

The photo you referenced in the manual........is it in the '05 Softail Service Manual?
