Changed oil in bike (all 3 holes) over weekend. About 1L came out of primary but manual says has to have 700mls otherwise it could be hard to find neutral on idle. This used to happen with 1L of oil & still happens with 700mls of oil.

Am using HD Primary Oil weather this makes a difference.

Does anybody else have the same dilemma, or am I doing something wrong.

I knew it was 700 something, didn't have manual in front of me at time when writing this but yeah I put 770mls in.
Just put knew clutch cable on about 1000kms ago, maybe stretched a bit & needs re-adjusting.
