New member looking for a bike.

    Hi Folks,
    I've just found this forum and looks great. Looking for some advice/feedback.
     
    I currently ride a 07 Triumph T100 Bonneville...  Okay, okay ....  We all make mistakes... Its up for sale and I'm looking to buy a Harley. I'm ready to buy now..
     
    I want a bike that I can use day to day for commuting in Sydney.  I now want a bike that I can go on longer runs at the weekend, and has a bit more grunt. 
     
    I'm thinking about a  Dyna super glide or preferably a street bob.. Probably second hand two years old at most.  Prices seem to be around $20K for the Dyna and $23K for the street bob.
     
    I've test driven the nightster and sportster but the both feel a bit small like my Bonnie. I've been checking out bike sales & bike point but If anyone knows of anything like this I'd be interested.

    Thanks for all the welcomes guys.. I think I've found a second hand Dyna super glide.

     Its a 2008 with very low KMS slip on pipes , forward controls.. Sounds good. 

    Any advice on things I should look out for when looking at the bike

    front engine mounts ??!!!!!

    Why is there a problem with them? Its only done 2,200kms

    hey galloway yeah there is a problem with the front mount ....have seen bikes with as little as 800k's with rooted front mounts ..there are fixes but they be x e .. one is a billet arm that restricts the movement as tad to stop the mount tearing shit n busting !

    oh and but dont let that detur you in getting a dyna there a damn fine scoot better than a softy ;)

    Picked up my Dyna tonight... Rode it back from Blacktown.. Loved it !!!!    Even in the pissin rain..

     

    Got a grin from ear to ear.. Told the missus I'm sleepin in the garage tonight...
