No pros and cons from me mate it is what ever takes your taste. It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. Its lot of cash if you just want to have 96inch because.
If it were me I would look straight at gearing for any performance gain. A lot of blokes over look what can be done with this area of their bike. The gearing of your bike can make or brake your machine.
Check out a book called "How to Build a Harley Davidson Torque Monster" by Bill Rook. Its a good read and gives you a thing or two to think about when you are looking for some more from your old girl.

may aswell go a 107 barrels or better still a 117 while its apart
gota agree gearing makes better fun
95 is a good kit with the cams. had it on my last ride and it seemed stronger than my current 103, still to loosen up yet.
