I am looking at getting a lower seating position and was thinking of a badlander or something similar..Everything I have looked at seems to suit 2000 and up....Can anyone tell me if there is much difference in the mounting positions for the seats in the later model bikes??? I would have thought that the actual frame and guard postions would be the same other than maybe 200 wheel models...

the softail seats fit '84-99 then 2000-present, with the exception of the 200tyre models they are '06up
2000up wont fit yours.

Thanks for the reply's...Now I know exactly what I am looking for.....I didn't want to lower the bike,just the seating position...I have a couple of seats for it so now am thinking

about getting one of them re-done...
