A mate was thinking of buying a 1996 Sporster and pulling it down and doing a rebuild, he asked my opinion and knowing nothing about Sporsters said I would ask the people on the forum if there is anything he should be paying particular attention to when buying one od these models.

To be honest, theres not to much to look out for . The 95's are at great bike, once Harley steped up to the 5 Speed Box all of the inherrant Sportster problems were over. .I guess just make sure that it has'nt got to many K's and that it wasn't a Right off at some stage
