looking at a 2002 softail heritage, mint condition,12mths rego,just over 6000kms forward controls,braided lines,badlander seat, screamin eagle pipes and all the other goodies. what do you reckon it's worth ?? comes with all standard parts as well.

Sounds like a good unit. Probably expect to pay low / early 20's. One thing to be careful of is the service history on low mileage bikes, some get done by the time, others just don't get done, or just have an oil change once a year. You will be up for replacing all fluids as in front forks, brakes etc and maybe a couple of dried out seals, if the bike has just sat there without regular use. Just budget for that and a major service in the asking price. I've got a 2002 with under 16K on it and it's a great little bike, however some of the seals are weepy from probably sitting around..

guy wants 20 grand so sounds like it should be a good buy at that price then ? i know the history of the bike and has had regular services by a trained Harley mechanic.
