rockbank for the Edenhope run and yes got it in the mail today...western ring road at boundary rd 111kmh ....i reckon  i was doin 100 ....just sucks  ,its like getting a monthly phone bill...

me thinks i need a bit of dirt on the plate....

 i still think those cameras dont read right plus "senior sergeant richie" isnt the issuing officer anymore it is now "officer in charge"...still think its extortion and i would be put in jail for what there doing

                                                      western ring road - detected speed 111 kmh, alleged speed 108 kmh

saw on a doco in the last couple weeks when I was back in Oz some stats on speed camera notices..... from memory it was something like QLD: 300,000; NSW: 800,000; VIC: 1,200,000... these figures have been rounded and I am not sure of the period. I just recall that the Victorians were way out in from with notices issued.

 

I also saw heaps more cops on the road in Victoria and SA than other states

Premiers and state governments are a waste of time. You'd think with them rolling in stamp duty they wouldn't need to sap us dry. Oh yes, all the states belong to 'that party', synonmous with mismanagement and recessions.

And WTF Jake, pinged riding to Rockbank for Edenhope and you were still late? Actually, in all seriousness, on the last two trips to/from Ballarat I've always kept the speed checked and under - they notoriously hound that Deer Park-Melton area cos all the bogan boys like to stretch out their Bommodores and Fucklcons cos its straight and increases its speed.

Just saw on the show Myth Busters the other night where they were testing how fast you'd have to go before the camera won't trip and snap ya... about 260 mph or 418 kmh.

i just got done last friday for overtaking unsafely ... cop caught me and booked me ( i intend to go to court and fight ) ... i know it isnt a speed camera , but i am also philosophical about the fine even if i dont get off as my friends often accuse me of flaunting the road rules quite regularly , which of course i deny !!!
