Hey Rodders thanks for the info....,Wellington road - detected speed = 109kmh,alleged speed 107 kmh
western ring road - detected speed 111 kmh, alleged speed 108 kmh
saw on a doco in the last couple weeks when I was back in Oz some stats on speed camera notices..... from memory it was something like QLD: 300,000; NSW: 800,000; VIC: 1,200,000... these figures have been rounded and I am not sure of the period. I just recall that the Victorians were way out in from with notices issued.
I also saw heaps more cops on the road in Victoria and SA than other states
Victoria's Fixed camera's & hidden camera cars Sux big time , revenue raising @ its finest ..
i got snapped on sat aswell , on the gold coast near the casino . maybe as much as 20/25k over......
Just saw on the show Myth Busters the other night where they were testing how fast you'd have to go before the camera won't trip and snap ya... about 260 mph or 418 kmh.
This is the rocket car they used http://www.jetdragster.com/gallery/pages/jet04.html
